Drawing on the elegance and history of Denver Union Station and marrying it with the joyful and inclusive energy of Snooze A.M. Eatery, this design is a fresh take on a nostalgic retro diner. We were called upon to design a flagship location for Snooze in Denver, Colorado.
Our strategic design efforts started with creating a comprehensive business strategy for the location. We conducted on-site research, visited multiple franchise locations, led stakeholder interviews with company leadership, and performed ethnographic studies to get into the desires of customers.
Our strategic process resulted in key attributes used as a north star for design decisions:
This Snooze can be a place for delightful waiting for trains and tables
Snoozers are stoked about the fantastic food, made better by a commitment to responsible practices
Snooze has some of the friendliest staff around, making breakfast better
Snooze is wonderfully boozy
Neon lights meet vintage chandeliers. Pigment-charged hues meet natural woods and metals. Intentionally layered textures and colours create an environment that exudes our lust for life and passion for responsible morning dining. This proposal is a beacon of joy and energy in Union Station, with an elevated flair from Snooze's existing brand identity.
