Visual Identity Design for a Clothing Brand
To create flattering fashion essentials that are made to last in ethical ways for conscious and modern women to enjoy— this is the mission of Sammy Soleil's brand.
When Sammy, founder of her self-named brand, approached us, she requested a visual identity that is timeless (yet current), youthful (yet classy), and elevated (yet unpretentious). Our design found the intersection of these ideas, with a lovely wordmark and minimalist identity system.
The Sammy Soleil wordmark uses a typeface that is artistic, striking, and whimsical. The evocative letter-forms wiggle in an artisanal manner, adding playfulness to the sophisticated serif font and appeal to the 20-somethings the brand creates clothing for.
Sammy Soleil's classic shade palette remains understated and lets the clothing do the talking. The selected neutrals are associated with calmness, wholesomeness, and reliability.
From labels to storefronts, this identity is wholly scalable and sophisticated-- a visual brand that will grow and scale with the business.
